Are you one of those people that carefully watch everything they eat or someone that can and does eat everything that is given to them? The thing about new-age health supplements is that they’re really geared to give you all the good stuff and keep out the bad. You can be sure that the dreaded four of salt, sugar, saturated fats and cholesterol aren’t there because our diets contain too much of these already. So what’s next? Many women get to a point in their lives when they just think that their own bodies are rebelling against them. Menstrual cramps are a problem for many women and not just those with irregular periods. The condition of endometriosis can increase the debilitating effect as can the condition of PCOS. There are a few women that seem to suffer no pain at all, whereas many have them so bad they can barely get out of bed for days during their cycle.

If you are one of those unfortunate enough to suffer this then perhaps it is time you looked at some form of menstrual cramp relief you know will work every month. The most obvious answer is to take one in pill form which also seems to be the most common method. The pain relief pill devised purely for this complaint and marketed heavily is Pamprin. Even if you don’t like taking pain medication and have always steered clear of pain relief, this may be a time to reconsider.

Why waste days of your life in pain when there is no need; think about all those things that you are stopped form doing. While these ideas may be ok for some women, others that have regular painful menstrual cramps each month may need to do something more permanent. The problem really arises when time has to be taken form work; no employer likes this every month.

If this has happened to you, you should make an appointment to talk to your doctor about finding menstrual cramp relief. A doctor will know of other options available to you including the birth control pill, if you are not already on it, which can help relieve the pains. Just remember to talk about your health matters with your doctor to see if it is safe for you to be on the Pill, and remember, this isn’t an option if you are trying to get pregnant and in that case, you may just have to grin and bear your discomfort. You can get relief from those awful cramps if you try enough different remedies because it is only a matter of time.
